- 1 (18 oz.) jar peanut butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. powdered sugar
- 1 (1 lb.) box graham crackers, crushed coarsely (with a rolling pin so they are not too fine)
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Directions

1Using an electric mixer, cream the peanut butter and butter until very soft and smooth.

2Beat in powdered sugar until smooth, then beat in half of the graham cracker crumbs.

3Beat until well blended and moist.

4Mix in remaining crumbs with hands.

5Spread mixture in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan, patting evenly.

6Melt chocolate and pour over cracker mixture.

7While chocolate is still soft, mark off desired size squares or bars and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
