- 1 qt. rich chicken stock
- 3 oz. minced onions
- 3 oz. minced celery
- 8 oz. peanut butter
- 3 oz. butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. half and half (milk and cream)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Boil chicken stock, onions and celery together for 45 to 60 minutes.

2Strain out onion and celery and discard.

3Stir in peanut butter until dissolved.

4Mix flour with half and half, add together with remaining ingredients, simmer all together 15 minutes.

5Add dash of egg shade for coloring.

6Garnish with 1/2 teaspoon bacon crumbs or minced country ham.

7Serves 8 to 10.
