  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 3/4 c. maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. roasted peanuts

Directions

    Pour honey and maple syrup into saucepan and cook until a small amount of mixture forms a hard ball when dropped into very cold water (255° F on candy thermometer).

    Remove from heat, add soda and cream of tartar; mix well.

    Stir in nuts and pour into buttered 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan.

    Cool and cut into squares.

    Makes sixty-four 1 inch squares.
