  • 8 oz. peanuts, crushed or ground
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (omit if peanuts are salted)
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (8-inch) pie shell

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, syrup and butter and mix well. Add vanilla; add peanuts.

    Bake at 350° for about 45 to 50 minutes or until filling is firm and brown.

    Pie may be soft when shaken gently but will firm as it cools.
