- 4 lb. ripe pears
- 1 c. crushed pineapple
- 5 c. sugar
- grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
Directions

1Wash, peel and core pears.

2Slice before measuring.

3Put through a food chopper, using fine blade.

4Combine pears and pineapple.

5Add lemon rind and juice.

6Add sugar and cook over slow heat, stirring frequently.

7Cook for 20 minutes.

8Pour into jars and seal.

9Process in boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Yields 4 pints.
