Pear Pecan Salad

- 1 large can pears
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 large pkg. lime or lemon Jell-O (or 2 small pkg.)
- 1 large whipped nondairy cream
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Drain pears.

2Boil 1 1/2 cups juice, or use 1 cup juice and 1 cup ice cubes to set faster.

3Mix with Jell-O.

4Set to thicken in refrigerator.

5Beat together pears and cheese.

6(Don't drop the fibers from the pears back into the mixture; they will gather on your beaters.

7Throw the fibers away.)

8Add to thickened Jell-O. Mix in whipped cream and pecans.

9Refrigerate for a couple of hours or longer.
