  • 3 to 4 fresh pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon
  • 1/2 tsp. almond
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell, cooked
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. flour (plain)

Directions

    Mix together sour cream and vanilla, almond and lemon extracts.

    Coat pears with 2/3 cup sugar and 1/3 cup flour and stir into sour cream mixture.

    Place in 9-inch pie shell which has been cooked at 325° for 10 minutes.

    Mix together 1/4 cup brown sugar, flour and butter until crumbly.

    Top pie with this crumbly mixture and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
