  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. plain flour

Directions

    Cream together margarine, Crisco and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add milk and vanilla.

    Mix in flour, one cup at a time, until well blended.

    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Place in cold oven, set temperature at 300° and bake until lightly brown and toothpick inserted comes out clean.
