Ingredients
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except confectioners sugar. With hands, mix thoroughly.

2Refrigerate 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°.

3Using hands, roll dough into balls 1 1/4-inches thick. Pat 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cookies are set, but not brown.

4Let stand 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.

5Cool slightly. Roll in confectioners sugar while still warm. Cool completely. Roll in sugar before serving.
