- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream together margarine and sugar.

2Add egg yolk, flour and vanilla.

3Press onto lightly greased 12 x 16-inch pan.

4Spread egg white on top.

5Take off excess.

6Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans.

7Press 1/2 of pecans into batter.

8Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.

9Cut while hot into squares, bars or rectangles. Yields approximately 84 to 90 rectangles per pan.
