- 1 c. butter
- 1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cream butter until light. Add sugar and continue creaming until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time.

3Mix in flour, soda and salt, then remaining ingredients. Drop from a teaspoon onto lightly greased baking sheets, spacing cookies about 2-inches apart, and bake 12 to 15 minutes until lightly browned. Remove and cool on wire racks.
