- 6 egg whites
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 12 oz. Cool Whip
- 2 c. crushed Ritz crackers
Directions

1Whip egg white until foamy.

2Add cream of tartar; whip until stiff, but not dry.

3Whip in sugar in small quantities at a time. Fold in crackers, nuts, vanilla and salt.

4Bake in ungreased 9 x 13-inch dish at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool and add whip topping.

5Refrigerate until ready to serve.
