Pecan Fruit Cake

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. plain flour (use 1 c. for coating fruit and nuts)
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. pecans

Directions

    Mix all ingredients well with your hands.

    Bake 3 hours at 250° in a tube cake pan.

    Line bottom of pan with waxed paper to help keep from sticking.
