- 1 lb. candied cherries, cut up
- 1 lb. golden raisins
- 4 c. flour
- 2 c. butter
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 lb. candied pineapple, cut up
- 1 lb. chopped pecans (4 c.)
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 tsp. lemon juice
- 6 large eggs, beaten until thick
Directions

1Mix the fruit and nuts in 1 cup flour.

2Cream the butter and lemon juice.

3Add sugar gradually.

4Add beaten eggs in thirds. Add dry ingredients in fourths.

5Add fruit.

6Bake at 275° for 4 1/2 hours with a pan of water in oven.
