  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • small pinch of salt
  • 1 1/4 c. pecans
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

    Beat eggs.

    Mix together syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt.

    Add eggs to mixture.

    Add pecans.

    Pour mixture into pie shell.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

    Lower temperature to 350° and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes.
