  • 1 9-inch pastry shell, unbaked
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. Karo dark corn syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecans

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Mix in corn syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt.

    Add nuts.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes; then lower to 350° and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes.
