  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 c. red Karo
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • dash of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 pie shell

Directions

    Cook Karo, sugar and dash of salt over medium heat for 4 minutes.

    Set off and cool.

    Beat eggs and mix in, then the butter, pecans and vanilla.

    Pour in pie shell and bake for 40 minutes at 350°.
