- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In 2-quart saucepan over low heat, heat butter until melted; remove saucepan from heat.

3With wire whisk, beat in corn syrup, sugar, eggs and vanilla until blended. Arrange pecans in bottom of pie crust.

4Carefully pour egg mixture over them.

5Bake for 1 hour, or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.

6Cool pie on wire rack.
