- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- few grains salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. pecan meats
Directions

1Combine syrup, sugar and butter in pan and heat to boiling. Beat the eggs and salt until light.

2Gradually pour hot syrup over eggs; beat constantly.

3Add vanilla and blend.

4Pour in pie shell and sprinkle pecan meats over top and bake at 375° for 40 minutes.
