Ingredients

  • 1 c. Karo syrup (green label)
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1 c. pecans, halves or chopped

Directions

    Mix all ingredients for filling together, adding pecans last. Pour in 9-inch unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Outer edges should be set, middle slightly soft.
