  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 c. pecan halves
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Add pecans that have been cut into halves.

    Pour all of these ingredients into the pie shell. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce the heat to 350° and bake for another 30 minutes.

    Pie should be cooled until firm.
