  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

    Combine beaten eggs and Karo syrup.

    Add sugar and beat until creamy.

    Add butter, salt, vanilla and pecans; blend well.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell (9-inches).

    Bake 10 minutes at 400°. Reduce oven to 350° and continue baking for 35 minutes or until a knife blade inserted near the center comes out clean.
