- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white Karo
- 3 eggs
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- chopped pecans (to fill bottom of shell)
Directions

1Melt butter in small pot; cook until medium brown.

2Add sugar and Karo and cook until thick; cool.

3Beat eggs and add salt and vanilla.

4Add to mixture.

5Place chopped pecans in unbaked pie shell.

6Pour mixture over pecans.

7Bake 30 to 35 minutes in 350° oven for 10 minutes.

8Reduce heat to 325° and bake 30 minutes more.
