  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla

    Line 9-inch pie tin with pastry.

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Add syrup, sugar and other ingredients and mix thoroughly.

    Stir in 1 cup pecan halves and pour into pastry lined tin.

    Bake at 375° for 40 to 50 minutes or until set and pastry is browned.
