- 3 whole eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 c. whole or sliced pecans
Directions

1Beat eggs.

2Add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla, melted butter and pecans.

3Mix together well and put in uncooked pastry shell.

4Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.

5Check pie after 50 minutes.

6If crust is getting too brown, cover with foil. Pecans rise to the top of the pie to form a crust on the top.
