  • 1/3 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 or 1 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

    Cream together Crisco, salt and brown sugar.

    Add eggs, milk, syrup and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Stir in pecans.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 425° for 10 minutes, then at 350° for 25 minutes or until knife comes clean when tested in center of pie.
