- 1 (9-inch) pastry crust
- 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. corn syrup
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Prepare pastry.

3In large bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla; beat well.

4Stir in margarine and pecans.

5Pour into pastry lined pie pan.

6Bake at 375° for 35 to 45 minutes, or until center of pie is puffed and golden brown.

7Cool.

8Serve plain or with whipped cream.
