  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 2/3 c. light Karo
  • 1/2 stick oleo, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans

Directions

    Combine sugar, oleo and Karo until smooth.

    Add flour, salt and eggs.

    Beat slightly.

    Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into pie shell.

    Bake in preheated 350° oven for 15 minutes.

    Lower heat and bake at 325° for 45 minutes.

    Pie is done when top starts to crack.

    Do not overbake.
