  • 1 c. pecans
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 (8-inch or 9-inch) pie shell

Directions

    Mix pecans, eggs, sugar, vanilla, buttermilk and oleo in a 2-quart saucepan.

    Cook on stove top burner until it's all blended good together and right before it comes to a full boil, take it off the stove.

    Pour it into your pie shell and bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
