- 1 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
Directions

1In saucepan, combine syrup, sugar and butter.

2Bring to a boil and boil gently, uncovered, 5 minutes.

3Stir and cool slightly. Place pecans in bottom of pie shell.
