- 5 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 1/2 c. cornsyrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. chopped pecans
- 16 pecan halves
- 1 c. whipping cream
- pie shell
Directions

1Prepare unbaked pie shell for 10 1/2 inch pie plate. Beat eggs and sugar together until well blended. Add butter, corn syrup, salt, vanilla, and chopped pecans. Mix thoroughly. Pour into prepared unbaked shell. Bake at 350° for about 1 1/4 hours-until filling is set. Cover with foil if top gets too brown before filling is set. Serve warm or cold. Garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves.
