- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell

1Cream margarine to soften.

2Add sugar gradually and cream until fluffy.

3Add syrup and salt.

4Beat well.

5Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.

6Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pastry shell.

7Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Cool before cutting.
