  • 4 eggs, beaten by hand
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 c. pecan pieces
  • 2 uncooked 9-inch pie shells

    Add ingredients as in the order listed.

    It is best to mix all the ingredients by hand, rather than mixer.

    This is enough for 2 pies.

    Do not preheat oven, then bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then at 350° for 25 to 40 minutes.
