  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. white corn syrup (may use dark)
  • 1 1/2 c. or more pecans

Directions

    Cream the butter and sugar.

    Add beaten eggs, flour, salt, vanilla and syrup.

    Stir well.

    Add pecans.

    Bake 1/2 or 3/4 hour. Start oven at 375° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°.

    Pie is done when it is firm.

    Do not overcook.
