  • 1 c. Karo all-purpose syrup
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 (9-inch) pastry shell, unbaked

Directions

    Mix all ingredients for filling together, adding pecans last. Pour into pastry shell.

    Bake in 400° (hot) oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer.
