- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- few salt grains
- 3/4 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. canned milk
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Cream butter; slowly beat in sugar and salt.

2Add eggs, one at a time; beat briskly.

3Blend entire mixture.

4Pour into pastry lined pie tin.

5Bake 10 minutes in 450° oven; reduce heat to 350° and bake until custard sets, about 30 minutes.

6Serve plain or with sweetened whipped cream.

7Add pecan halves over top of pie.
