  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell (9 or 10-inch pan)

    Allow butter to come to room temperature.

    Add to butter, sugar, salt and vanilla; beat well until blended.

    Fold in pecans.
