  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. corn syrup (King)
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. pecans
  • pie shell

Directions

    Place shell in pie plate.

    Line with pecans.

    Beat eggs.

    Add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and butter.

    Pour over lined crust. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.

    Nuts will rise to form a crusted layer.
