  • 2 c. pecan pieces
  • 1/4 c. flax seed
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. DATE BUTTER
  • 1/2 c. barley malt powder
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. arrowroot powder or cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. maple flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. honey

Directions

    Toast pecans at 350° for 15 minutes.

    Place in unbaked pie shell.

    Blend flax seed with 1/4 cup warm water.

    Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup water as it thickens while blending.

    Pour mixture into bowl.
