  • 1 c. white Karo
  • 2/3 c. Griffins waffle syrup (no substitute)
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped

Directions

    Beat eggs, add rest of ingredients.

    Pour into 2 (9-inch) pie crusts.

    Bake at 450° (425° for glass pans) for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° (325° for glass pans) and cook 25 to 35 minutes or until knife blade inserted in center comes out clean.
