- 3 eggs
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 c. dark brown sugar
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 heaping c. pecan pieces
Directions

1Lightly beat eggs.

2Add Karo and brown sugar.

3Mix only until smooth.

4Add salt, melted margarine, vanilla and pecans.

5Pour into unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell.

6Place on cookie sheet which has been heated in 400° oven for 15 minutes.

7Lower heat to 350° and continue cooking for another 25 minutes or until firm.
