  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 c. halved or chopped pecans
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix all ingredients and pour into the unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° and bake for approximately 40 minutes.
