- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. Karo (light or dark)
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. (or more) chopped pecans
Directions

1Take out and set aside 2/3 cup cake mix.

2Mix rest of cake mix with margarine and 1 egg.

3Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

4Mix the 2/3 cup cake mix with brown sugar, vanilla, Karo and 3 eggs.

5Pour over top of first layer and sprinkle pecans on top.

6Bake 30 to 35 minutes longer at 350°.
