- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 4 whole eggs
- 2 c. pecans (1 c. for 1 pie)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. melted oleo or butter
- 1 tsp. vinegar
Directions

1Mix and beat well sugar, Karo and eggs.

2Add nuts, vanilla, melted butter or oleo and vinegar.

3Mix well.

4Pour into 2 frozen pie crusts.

5Place directly on oven rack in a preheated 400° oven. Bake for 8 minutes.

6Lower temperature to 350° and continue baking for 25 minutes.

7Check for doneness.

8May take an additional 3 to 5 minutes (pie will rise and tend to show a small crack in top when done).
