- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a medium size cooking pan, add all ingredients at one time. Stir over low heat and bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Time 1 minutes after start of boiling.

2Remove from heat and beat until it reaches a good spreading consistency.

3Add a little vanilla.

4Very good for your favorite chocolate cake.

5Covers a 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
