- 1/3 c. milk or half and half
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Boil sugar and milk, stirring as needed to prevent curdling and scorching.

2Cook to soft ball stage (236°).

3Remove from fire. Add butter. Cool. Add vanilla.

4Beat until creamy.

5Add nuts. Pour quickly into oiled pan.

6Makes 10 to 12 (1-inch) squares.
