  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 9 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes Deli Hot Pepper Cheese, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup beer, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup Land O Lakes Butter, melted
  • 2 Land O Lakes Eggs, slightly beaten

    Heat oven to 350F.

    Grease 9x5-inch loaf pan; set aside.

    Combine flour, whole wheat flour, 1 cup cheese, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl.

    Stir in beer, butter and eggs just until moistened.

    Spoon batter into prepared pan.

    Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

    Bake 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
