- 2 doz. red peppers
- 2 doz. green peppers
- 8 large onions
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 1/4 c. salt
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Remove the stems and seeds from the red and green peppers. Chop vegetables in the grinder, using large blade. Pour boiling water over vegetables to cover.

2Let stand for 5 minutes.

3Drain. Again pour boiling water over the vegetables and allow to stand 10 minutes.

4Drain for 1 hour.

5Add the vinegar, salt and sugar and cook for 1 hour.

6Then put into hot jars, not cold ones.

7Makes 6 pints.
