- 1 lb. round steak, cut into 1/2-inch strips
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed or garlic salt
- 1 1/2 c. beef broth
- 1 c. green onions, sliced (including tops)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 fresh tomatoes, cut into eighths
Directions

1Pound steak before cutting in strips.

2Sprinkle with paprika. Let set while preparing vegetables.

3Put oleo in a large skillet and melt.

4Add meat and brown; then, add garlic and broth.

5Cook 30 minutes and add vegetables.

6Cook for 5 minutes.

7Blend the cornstarch, water and soy sauce.

8Add to meat mixture.

9Cook about 2 minutes.

10Add tomatoes.

11Stir gently.

12Serve over platter of 3 cups cooked rice.
