  • 1 lb. round steak, cut into 1/2-inch strips
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed or garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 c. beef broth
  • 1 c. green onions, sliced (including tops)
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 fresh tomatoes, cut into eighths

    Pound steak before cutting in strips.

    Sprinkle with paprika. Let set while preparing vegetables.

    Put oleo in a large skillet and melt.

    Add meat and brown; then, add garlic and broth.

    Cook 30 minutes and add vegetables.

    Cook for 5 minutes.

    Blend the cornstarch, water and soy sauce.

    Add to meat mixture.

    Cook about 2 minutes.
