- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 4 large green peppers, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, sherry and garlic.

2Cut steak into thin crosswise slices. Add to soy mixture.

3Heat oil and add peppers.

4Stir-fry until almost tender. Stir in beef mixture, salt and pepper.

5Cook until beef is brown, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes and cook until tender.

6Serve over rice.
